David Hohimer, DMD

Dr. Hohimer’s fascination with state-of-the-art technologies is a great benefit to our patients – he’s always at the forefront to ensure that you will receive the best and most advanced care available today. He has lived in South Florida since 2001, and at present, enjoys life in East Ft. Lauderdale where he is active in community organizations and takes advantage of the area’s relaxed lifestyle. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hohimer likes to read, cook, participate in fitness activities, travel … and explore the “techno geek” side of life.

Captivated by precision technologies that aid in patient comfort, especially when essential for cosmetic and implant dentistry, Dr. Hohimer has achieved advanced training in dental implant placement and restoration, Invisalign invisible orthodontics, and sedation dentistry. He is also certified in the use of Botox® in dentistry. Dr. Hohimer has taught other dentists in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and with his certification in using Botox in dentistry, he can apply his finely honed skills to assess the balance and overall esthetics of the face as well as address jaw joint issues such as temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). Dr. Hohimer is active in state, national, and international organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Florida Society for Dental Anesthesiology.

Dr. Hohimer is passionate about providing the most gentle, comprehensive, and advanced techniques available. He has a special interest in treating patients diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea using custom oral appliances. He also believes that by delivering a broad spectrum of opportunities from Botox and cosmetic dentistry to sedation, he can ensure a smile strategy that can be tailored to meet your unique needs.

Kerry Waldee, DDS

Dr. Kerry Waldee shares his warmth and enthusiasm for life and lifelong learning with our patients. A serious car enthusiast, Dr. Waldee’s hobbies include automobiles (old and new), motorcycles, RVs, and of course, travel. Since 1982, he has practiced dentistry in the Plantation/Fort Lauderdale area and at present lives in Davie, the perfect location as it’s close to the practice and central to all the best driving routes! He participates in community organizations as well as recreational activities including fitness, socializing with friends, and enjoying good food, theater, and music.

Throughout his 35 years of experience, Dr. Waldee has been dedicated to staying on the leading edge of his field and has taken advanced postgraduate training in state-of-the-art techniques and technologies. Because of its power to restore self-esteem, Dr. Waldee is particularly interested in the cosmetic aspect of dentistry for he has seen firsthand the astounding transformations that cosmetic dentistry can deliver, even to those who had given up smiling. To ensure he can make the maximum positive impact on his patients’ smiles, he has taken advanced postgraduate training in restorative, sedation and implant dentistry, as well as Invisalign invisible orthodontics, and is an active member of numerous regional, state, and national organizations, including The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and The Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Matthew Fien, DDS, Periodontist

Dr. Matthew J. Fien received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed post graduate training in the specialty of Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Fien has completed a number of research projects which have led to his work being published in various peer reviewed dental journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Fien is actively engaged in several clinical research studies in the fields of Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Tissue Regeneration. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Born and raised in South Florida, Dr. Fien enjoys playing golf, tennis, and basketball. He also enjoys listening to music and spending time with his wife, Eugenia and his two sons, Ethan and Dylan.
